about the artist

paige cary is a philadelphia based artist. she was introduced to the art world at the age of ten when her parents placed her in her first acting class. transitioning into her teenage years is when paige began to move about her days with a journal attached to her wherever she went. she realized that along with her passion to tell stories through acting there was a part of her that could not turn off when it came to her mind running free in her writing. 

these are the aspirations that led her into attending college at amda: college and conservatory of the performing arts in new york city and los angeles. shortly after receiving her bachelors of fine arts degree in acting, paige had no other choice but to face her mental health. thankfully taking the time to focus on recovering from past experiences allowed her to fall deep into her writing in 2017 & 2018, which was the birth of her debut poetry book, 

'a paige in my diary'. the collection of poetry that can be found in, 'a paige in my diary', will hopefully start conversations on topics that many feel ashamed to bring up themselves. 

more than anything paige knows that her creative mind can help expand her gifts as an artist. it is her purpose to use her experiences to make a difference for those who need guidance in finding their own voice. she is currently working on her second collection of poetry and her first fiction novel while continuing to pursue her dreams of being in the entertainment industry as an actress. paige looks forward to what her future holds as an artist as the years push forward.
